FREE CHILDCARE FUNDING FOR 2 YEAR OLDS
Are you aware that you may be entitled to FREE 15 HOURS childcare for your 2-year-old child? If you meet any one of the eligibility requirements listed in the links below you can apply for this funding through the local council. Once you have applied and received a confirmation letter stating that you have been granted the FREE 15 HOURS funding for your child, the enrolment process is very easy. All you are required to do is complete the nursery application form and provide a copy of the funding confirmation letter/email.
FREE NURSERY SHUTTLE SERVICE
At Shining Stars Nursery, we are offering a FREE nursery shuttle service where your child can be collected and dropped off home by the nursery. We are very proud to be able to offer this service in all 4 of our nurseries. If you are interested in this service, please see a member of the team when enrolling your child. Please note this service is provided on a first come first serve basis and limited spaces are available. To secure your place please complete the nursery application well in advance before your child is due to start nursery to avoid any disappointments!
At Shining Stars Nursery (Blackburn) we have teamed up with the local children centre, and we are currently running Chatter Chums classes, delivered at the nursery by a trained teacher from the children centre. Chatter Chums is a programme to help develop your child’s speaking and listening skills, turn taking, following instructions and rhyme time. The childcare practitioner’s will advise you if your child will benefit from this programme, likewise if you are interested in taking part please see a member of the team for further information.
